Hi...

I realized last night that I have no clue what sort of photos you like...so its hard to make changes without knowing. I did some rough drafts here...but it there something you have in mind or like, I can do it more cleanly so you can print it. Also, I would need better scans.

I did it in Photoshop (not elements).

Can you send me a higher resolution scan of that photo? As it is now, I think it might be a little grainy if you were to get a photo from it.

When you scan, you should do so at the highest resoulution your scanner allows (up to 600dpi which is more than enough).

Every scanner is different but if you look at the options you have before you scan a document, you should be able to change it to 600dpi.

My scanner defaults at 200dpi which is not enough for this sort of thing.
