So my mom's BF flew in from the South to go to a wedding at Russo's. This was not this weekend but last.
So the wedding is going great & the groom's grandfather is there & having a blast. Well, dinner is served & suddenly there is a commotion. Gramps is choking. Next thing they know, the room is cleared. EMT, police, ambulance. AN HOUR goes by. The guests are let back into the room. The mood was totally somber. She said no one danced & everyone left. Anne (mom's friend) said she thinks the grandfather died.
COULD YOU IMAGINE? Isn't that AWFUL? I mean obviously the death of your grandfather at your wedding os beyond tragic but your WEDDING is ruined too.

WOW! Thats horrible! My uncle left my wedding in an ambulance. Luckily, the party kinda went on but a lot of people were very worried the whole time. He's okay though. I couldnt even imagine what I would have done if he wasnt.

that happened to me when I was in college.
I was working at a RH and the father of the bride had a heart attack AND DIED... right on the dancefloor.
It was a terrible experience.

That is horrible. So sad for the Bride and Groom.
My 90 year old Aunt took ill at my Wedding....they had to call the ambulance...but she refused to leave and she went to the Doctor the next day and everything was fine. She just fainted with all the excitement.

That happened to my aunt too. She dropped dead on the dance floor at someone's wedding. She also had a heart attack.

that just happened last month to my BM at her wedding.. her grandmother was soo excited she fainted.
