Duet brides- DVD question

Duet brides- DVD question

I posted about this a while ago when I first got my wedding DVD, but I just wanted to ask again. Do any of you have problems viewing your DVD?
Mine have been skipping since day one and they even sent me a new one, and that skips too. I may be able to watch them once or twice without a problem and then they start skipping. It's so bad that you just wind up shutting the whole thing off.

Well, I didn't use Duet, but my DVD was skipping. So, I called my videographer and I told him the problem. He suggested that I had an older DVD player, which was true, it was six years old. His also, said that the new high resolution DVD's don't work very well on the older DVD players. Odds are if you have an older DVD player than that may be the problem. I had to by a brand new DVD player just to watch my wedding video. After that he felt bad, and he sent me a second DVD for free. So, it wasn't too bad.

Do you have a dvd player in your computer? It might work better there.

My mom wasn't able to play it on her DVD player in her house but she was able to play it on the travel one she has for the car. Sometimes I find that some DVDs don't play on the more expensive players with tons of options. We bought a $49 player from Costco a while ago to have as an extra and we have NEVER had a problem playing any DVDs on it. Our expensive Sony one doesn't play half our movies. We find this to be the case with copied movies only, not original ones.

We tried that and it doesn't seem much better.

if there are no stractches and is happening on multiple dvd players...they may of been a burning issue or encodeing issue...

is it just one spot or the whole thing?
