Duet - Online Proofing ??

Does anyone register for online proofings?

I did - it's $20. I don't think it's worth it though. to order through them is $$$$.

I just picked up my CD and negatives yesterday and uploaded everything to snapfish. It took a couple hours, but it's much cheaper!

I 'did' register on last sat. But I still haven't get it yet until now and it hasn't been a week already.

How long it took you to get the user name and the password?
Do you get to see all of the proofs?
do you know how much if you like to order through them?

Well, when I went on Saturday to pick up my negatives/CD I asked when the online part would be ready. He said about a week or so. Then I asked about the passwords - the login is your first name (all lowercase) and the password is your husband's first name (lowercase too) .

I went online when I got home and they were there! So - you might as well check - yours might already be online.

It was not all of the proofs, and the prices for prints are $$$ - the same as whatt Duet normally charges. (Ex. $20 for a B&W 8x10).

I uploaded everything to Snapfish and am ordering my first print. I'll let you know how it turns out!

I just got mine today..
I know the price for the prints are 'crazy'
I won't order from them either..
I guess I gotta wait until I get my cd.

Oh wow.. they must have just started this. I totally recommend for you girls to do this since it's an option. I used them for my wedding and had my album made. I just got my CD with all my pics and there were a few I would have wanted to use for my album. I'm disappointed that I wasnt given EVERY pic until after the album was complete.

TY for telling us that. I just got proofs and I noticed some taken werent printed so they are in process of looking back to see why. A perfect example of why i wish we got the Cd right away. Even the option to be able to say yes or no to the pic printed.

I thought they did a great job of 'editing' my pics. There were only a few on the other CD's that I really liked.

I have to say though - that it's REALLY boring looking through all of them - I had about 4,000 total on the CD's!

just want to make it clear..
whatever we get (proofs).. that's what's on the online proofing.

So that's meant we will get all of the pictures taken when we get the cd.

Just wanted to let u know I went with the online proofing...I will let u know how it works for me.

I had Duet go back and look at files for shots taken that werent in my proofs and sure enough, they are printing up some this wk that they found.

ETA: MrsB, when u said a few shots that u didnt get until u saw cd, what was a few???
