Earth Hour
Tomorrow night, Saturday, March 28th at 8:30 p.m., hundreds of millions of people around the world will turn off their lights in the first global vote for action on climate change in history. Through the flick of a light switch, people will cast a vote for our elected representatives to take action on the climate crisis.
Individuals and businesses across the five boroughs of New York City will join millions of people around the world to make a dramatic statement of concern about climate change by turning off their lights for one hour.
From Manhattan's iconic skyscrapers, to key landmarks in all five boroughs, to the apartments and houses of individual New Yorkers across the city, Earth Hour will provide an opportunity to raise awareness among our friends and neighbors, teach our children and engage our elected officials about the need to address climate change.
So my question is....will you be involved in earth hour?
