I know I posted about this before....I really wish I could move my anniversary to 7/26...when we had our religious ceremony and reception. Our real day is April 12 which is Easter this year, and always around tax time. I always felt odd on that holiday, since I am jewish, and it's always a little lonely for me. Husband is not jewish, and I have no idea what to do for the holiday (a ham and matzoh sandwich? jelly beans and macaroons?) While I do not always keep kosher for passover, I also feel odd about going out to a fancy meal. Anyhow, I feel silly complaining, it's not a real problem, but I just wish our first anniversary was not on Easter. I do like walking on 5th avenue, so we'll probably do that.

Re: Easter Anniversary!
Don't let it bother. I find for most christians, not all christians easter isn't a big holiday unless they are religious or have small children. Try not to let it worry you. Enjoy your first Anniversary!

Re: Easter Anniversary!
I just wanted to mention. In my family we usually eat lamb. Which is kosher I do believe. It is one of the traditions I still keep with the holiday. It might be a nice touch to combined the two. Personally I love lamb with mint jelly!
