Do the videographers basically KNOW what to take out of the raw footage or do I have to list e/ & every thing I want out?

They really knew what to take out, etc.
And if they moved around during the ceremony, it's has to be edited to really have a good look of continuity. Most of our ceremony was on the final video.

We just got our DVD. they did an awesome job of editing, and yes they left in most of the ceremony

We had montages up until the processional, then it went to real time for our ceremony (readings, sermon, vows, rings) then back to montages for pictures/reception footage

Our entire ceremony was on the video, but we had a short one... it was like 15-20 mins.
