Just wondering if you ended up booking a trip to the Berkshires this Fall. Now more than ever, it's nice to get away from everything for a few days. My fiance and I just went up to Canada for a long weekend and had a great time.
No, we won`t be going. My husband is a firefighter and his life has drastically changed since I posted about going away. Although things are calming down quite a bit, it just isn`t in the cards for this fall. Thanks for remembering and for your help with the area. There are hopes for next year :o) and I definitely want to check out that area.
Ahh- so sorry. If I had known I wouldn`t have even asked. I`m sure he is not in the mood for a vacation.

Well, maybe next Spring you can go up there. (or late winter if you`re both skiiers)
No, don`t feel bad. My husband is safe and there are alot of fireman`s widows who aren`t as fortunate so in the big scheme of things, we`re so blessed. He does have it rough with funerals and all the other stuff which keeps us from making a fall foliage trip that far this year but it`s all OK. :o) Spring is a good idea too though. Thanks.
