I was just discussing our enlargement framing options with our photographer and he said the custom framing would run us about $250-$300 for a 16x20 frame.
I just want to bring it to Michael's and get it done cheaper. Is that bad? I dont see keeping the frame forever considering I will redecorate many times...

Re: Enlargement Framing
I bought a frame at home goods and put the enlarged picture in it. ( 16X20) It was 29.99 and it looks awesome!

I didn't know they do it for you, or offer the option to charge you for it. I was going to just buy a frame at Michael's anyway. I don't see why not.

I just planned to frame ours ourselves. Michaels or AC Moore both sell nice large frames.

don't fall for it, it's a waste of money. If you find a nice frame to put your picture in who's going to know the difference whether you spent $300 with your photographer or $30 at michaels? It's your $$$, keep it in your pocket!

Re: Enlargement Framing
My enlargement was a square size that they do not make frames for.
There is a frame place in the source mall (by maximus salon), they mounted the picture and put it in a nice frame for about $150. My photographer quoted me a price of $350 'on sale'

I know he even mentioned to me the Michaels idea but he is trying to convince me about using his. I just hate continuously having to say no.
