there is an espo 09er!!!!! i had to take a double take when i saw her name on the 09 boards

do you feel like someone is stealing your identity?!?

LOL had to respond...I saw that too !! I remember when someone posted on the 08 boards and her name was Espo2222 something like that

yeah shes been on a while the 09 bride. no i dont feel like she is stealing my identity esposito in italy is like smith in the US so its pretty common actually. Its crazy how many there are. The funniest thing is that Dh is registered with La coste they have in the computer system. ANd whenever he buys anything they ask for his name, and the first time they said ok we have more than one joe esposito, where do you live, he says astoria and they say ok we have more than 1 joe esposito in astoria. And so many places ill call and make reservations and one time they said oh we have you in the system already and its like NOOOO you dont thats somebody else i guess.

The reason why is bc a VERY LOOOONG time ago in italy there was an orphanage, and the guy who ran the orphanage decided to give EVERY single kid the last name Esposito which was his last name. Now this orphanage was around for a very long time and they continued to do this. So some were born into it but others have the name bc of this

my new last name is SOOOO not common - but ppl ALWAYS mis pronounce it

yeah it is, and he said he considered them like his own children. Many they didnt have last names for so he felt bad and he wanted to give all of them his own last name.
