Ethics Class

...I am in my counseling ethics class...and we are talking about HERPES.

Why do I pay $850/credit???

Whether you have to tell your partner you have something like that is actually a huge ethical issue. There have been numerous cases because people fail to disclose communicable diseases. It doesn't sound that far-fetched to me.

Oh no, that I totally get...the conversation started because we were talking about why a counselor may have to disclose to someone's partner that they have HIV...then someone asked about herpes...then we dissolved into a whole 10 minute side conversation about herpes. Then the professor tried to move on and another idiot brought it back up. Sometimes I wonder how some of these people got into grad school...

Wow, that sounds so much more fun than my ethics class right now. We talk about getting sued by clients for sleeping with them. Remember, therapy never includes sex.
