etiquette question

i finally mailed all of my thanks yous earlier this month! - i know im horrible!

but there were a few people that didnt come to the wedding and sent a gift in which i mailed them a generic thank you card ( the ones that come in a pack of 10) right afterwards, now do i still have to send a thank you card with our wedding pic. on it?

or will the generic thank you be ok?

If you already sent a thank you for the gift and they did not attend the wedding, then you do not have to send them a TY with a pic again.

I know i did send a wedding pic thank you to a few people that already received generic thank yous but and i think i have 2 more couples and i soooooo dont feel like sending b.c i am not sure of their names...
it will just be a lot of effort to find the wife's name so i just want this to be done with...

i had already sent them a thank you so i dont want to go through the trouble if i dont need to

u don't have to... but I did. Depends how you feel about the person.

I'm going to see how many I have left over, and if I like the gift givers, I'll send them a picture card.

I'm half way thru the writing. Goal is to have them in the mail by Saturday morning.

I did the hard part, writing them ALL with personalizations, so DH gets to stuff, seal, stamp and mail the TYs.

The way I am working it is this- if they are close family that didnt' make it to the wedding but sent a gift even if you sent a generic thank you I would send a picture thank you if you're able to.

I got gifts before the wedding and I sent generic thank you's to those that didn't attend the wedding- those that I knew were coming I still sent a generic thank you but I am going to send them a picture thank you as well because they were at the wedding.
