OK So I absolutely LOVE, LOVE my wedding dresses but I've helping out a few friends with their upcoming nuptials. We were looking at dresses and I found this
I also ABSOLUTELY loved Yelley's Ines Disanto feather dress. If I had done a NYC wedding, I would have totally done something dramatic like that!
Post any 'envy' dresses you've been coveting!

[i can honestly say I wasn't totally unhappy with the way i looked, I just fel like I could have worn a more flattering dress. But you know this already
btw, time is ticking. what is your deal? I'm about to get all Mr. Rogers and start singing to you his daily song....
Dude, you looked GORGEOUS!!!!
I know, I know we're dragging our feet. We're nervous
I was telling bill your deal last night when we drove in to drop my skis off and stopped to eat at my fave midtown pizza place and told him how you were hesitating and why and he was like, oh, just like you did when you moved.
it's normal and a big decision. But the end result will be worth it.

I think I would have been much more comfortable, though, in a non-corset dress, and in a halter. I was very self conscious of the strapless all day long.

I know, today I went to crate and barrel and longingly looked at dining room sets
We just need to make a decision already. I think what also scares us is the crazy economy

I def. wouldn't do a corset dress if I could go back - yeah my waist looked skinnier - but that's only b/c it was pushed up and out - so it looked like I had a pair of chicken cutlets hanging off of my back

I know. I'm home writing a paper and get bored and start perusing MLSLI. I send all these links to bill like LOOK! we can afford a house in FH, or PW! and he is like you seriously need to relax - what happened to waiting another 2-3 years!
it is a scary time for sure but still - a good time to buy on the other hand.

I have such dress envy!! i ended up not liking my dress at all. I knew i should have just bought another one but everyone kept saying i would fall back in love - i didnt. Anyway, here are some of my favorites - if they post

that's why i had my dress altered from strapless to v-neck. I thought I would be uncomfortable and was sick of seeing strapless everywhere. but after the fact i thought i would have looked better in strapless. it's a no win. My original dress looked a lot like yours.

I love my dress too...but now when i look at pics, i wish mine was more fuller and not dropped waist...its funny cuz I hated fuller gowns i never even tried it one...my dress was the 5th dress i tried on and I bought it...I do wish I looked a little more...I Denise's dress, if I could do my wedding all over again I would wear that dress!

I don't think I'd change my dress but I'm so with you girls on changing the corset back. It looked nice but you can actually see me struggling to breath in my wedding video. I've never been so uncomfortable.

I have jealous rage over dresses i see j/k But I didn't like my dress, it was so uncomfortable, tore up my back and my poor boobs ouch! I wish I would have waited to get my dress, and I would have never gotten a strapless gown.

Re: Ever have dress envy? Post yours!
I really lovved my dress - it was just what I was looking for. I originally wanted the Melissa Sweet Lia but it was too pricey and I really liked the detail on my dress better. HOWEVER - I should have been stricter with the alterations, dress didn't fit right, hem too long, should have worn a memaid slip, needed a better bra or corest, etc.
Ok buttt I will find dresses that I like. One I know I love is Tuosto's (she changed her screen name now) but it is just gorgeous and fit her pefectly!!!! Ok more to come!

I my dress-the two-tone and the scalloped edge strapless but I think I would have liked a sweetheart neckline too.
