OK So I absolutely LOVE, LOVE my wedding dresses but I've helping out a few friends with their upcoming nuptials. We were looking at dresses and I found this
I also ABSOLUTELY loved Yelley's Ines Disanto feather dress. If I had done a NYC wedding, I would have totally done something dramatic like that!

Here are dresses I like. I still wouldve worn mine but these dresses are gorgeous, the first one maybe for a real formal party would be nice:lol
normally dont like sweetheart neckline but this dress is glamorous

i LOVED my dress... but to this day i still dream about the dresses that were 'mermaid' style!! they were SOOOO WAYYY out of my price range unfortunately - but i would have loved to be able to afford buying one of those
i saw some nice regular dresses, i'll do that. Maybe this way its something we can actually say 'oh i can wear that one day'

yeah i hear ya, im 5'2 and have a very short torso so this would NOT work on me lol

Oh God all the time. I realy really wanted a corset style dress but didnt find one that i like. When I see the Maggie Sottero's and BkBride's dress I am always like dammit i should have kept looking.
Everyone kept telling me to get a dress before it was too late to order it so i got something I liked and not loved. The day of the wedding I had to put extra pins so my dress wouldnt fall. If I could go back and change one thing that's what it would be

I would have gotten something like this (very similar to my dress but fitted at the waist)

i must have lost weight between my last fitting and the wedding day, b/c my dress AND bra were both a tad bit big on me... in some pictures i can totally tell and it makes me hate the fact that i got my last fitting done so early
but you know what, i bet NO ONE sees what we see - b/c we are our own worst enemy

Uggh my last fitting was only 3 days before the wedding I dont know how I lost so much weight in 3 days!! I mean its great but not really

I'm so totally blushing lol
I loved my dress!! I found it in a magazine in 2006 and kept a pic of it, so when DH proposed in 2007, you know I went on a major search for it! lol.
These are a few dresses, I totally covet as reception dresses. I really should have gotten one. lol
