Excellence Punta Cana?

Hey ladies!! DH and I just booked our trip to Excellence Punta Cana for this May for our 2 year anniversary! Anywho, I was wondering who has been there and if they have any insights on the must sees there. Also, do they have anything special at the resort itself that I could plan for our anniversary. I was thinking a private dinner on the beach, like they do at Couples, but I don't see anything like that on the site. Any suggestions would be much appreciated! Thanks!

i'm no help, but i know that a lot of 2011 brides did go there for their HM's.
however, i can tell you that this board has been dead for awhile now so i don't know often any of those brides even check in anymore.
have you tried posting this on LIF's travel section? in between all the Disney posts?

when you book you can let them know that its your anniversary, they'll put a sign on your door for your stay....im pretty sure you get a 'special' dinner at one of the many yummy restaurants that includes a bottle of wine....i know they do have private dinners on beach but i think its mucho $$$$$$ your going to have a great time....i've been to both punta cana and playa mujeres cant wait to go back ......hope you have a great time

Thank you for the heads up! Yeah, this is usually the quiet time. The 2011'ers are trickling out and the 2012'ers haven't made the jump yet! lol!

I did post on LIF, but no response! Maybe I'll try posting this on BHB, too, to get a little more traffic. Thanks again!

I'm glad to hear you had a good time there! I did let them know it was our anniversary so hopefully we'll get something fun out of it! lol! Thanks for the input!
