I'm such an idiot, we booked our trip to St. Martin and I totally forgot to check my passport. I called the passport phone # and she said you have to wait until its 14 days before your departure to make an appt and go in person.
Has Anyone done this before? Did they give it back to you the same day or did they mail it? The lady said it depends...I am sooo worred now!

I think you can get it on the spot...or within a cple hrs in NYC...I did expedite and it got there in less than a week,,,I think they told me two weeks,,, I would call tomm...WHen are you leaving??

June 7th...she said I have to call on the 22nd to make an appt...Do they call the airline to see if its true? Im thinking of changing it on word lol...Im just nervous!

Jackie...my passport expired this year too and I sent away for a new one and got it back within 2 weeks!
10 yrs ago when I got my other passport my mother and I went to the office in CT. We didn't have an appointment. what they did was they made all the people for 2 lines...those who had an appointment and those who didn't. We got there at 8 am and had our passports by 1 pm.
