Extra Photos

How much are you paying for extra prints? Here's what I'm paying.

wallet- 8 for 18.50
4X6 - $18
5X7 - $18
8X10 - $32

I almost fell out of my chair a minute ago when I found out how much. Anyone else paying this much?

This is a wonderful thread. I would love to know what other photography companies are charging for reprints.

Agree. I don't have my rates with me, but will post again later.

It's outrageous.

My dad used to be a professional wedding photographer so one of his friends took the pics and handed us the rolls of film......we just went to a professional lab and got the print and book done that way

So, were those the lab prices? If that is the going rate, studios reallty do mark it up. I have the files, & permission to get it doenmydelf, but no clue where to find a professional studio. I had a few 4x6 done at a regualr photo place for some family & friends.

I dont remember what mine charged but they do mark them up a lot. The only other thing to consider is that not all photo labs are equal. The top photo labs do charge a lot..and a big photo is a fortune even if you go directly with them. So it really depends on what kind of lab your photographer uses.
