Eyeliner recommendation?

Eyeliner recommendation?

Hey all! So I'm really obsessed with doing my eyes in a very 60s way right now (think black liner just on top with light colored shadow). The only problem is that EVERY liner I use rubs off onto my eyelid and therefore this looks horrible by the end of the day if I don't keep checking up on it. I think this is because my skin is oily. :-/

Does anyone have any recommendations? At this point I don't care if it's liquid or pencil, I just want something that stays put!

Thanks. <3

I'm getting my make up done next week at Mac, I'll have to get that as one of the things I'll get with my $50. Thanks for the recommendation!

I have one that I've tried too, it doesn't work as well.

Chanel makes a black liquid eyeline pen that is AMAZING. I have spent the night drinking, gone to bed without taking my makeup off and woken up with perfectly lined eyes the next morning. It will NOT come off without eye makeup remover.

If the MAC stuff doesn't work then that's my next stop! I need something like that.

MAC has amazing stuff! However, always make sure you have a great primer on your eyelids first before applying your shadow and liner. it sets your shadow and liner and prevents creasing of the shadow. Urban Decay makes one of the best eye primers ever. Sephora sells it. My friend who is a makeup artist swore by it and I never wear eye makeup without it.

I always put a mineral base all over my face. Does that count or do I need to use specifically something for your eye?

My mom is so not into any of this stuff. I'm make up retarded!

So funny i always use a line on top with a light shadow. But i use a very dark brown eyeshadow rather then liner. It stays great for me. And its so much easier to wash off. My mom has always used liquid. I think she uses Loreal nothing to special.

I can't find a liner that stays put. I always wear it on my lower lids, but I find it smears or looks crappy after a few hours. I used the Urban Decay primer, and didn't think it was anything special. I just put a little foundation on my lids before I apply shadow. I also find that if I apply shadow wet, it stays better.

MAC or Chanel
Buy the eyeshadow BASE from MAC it is amazing, ur eyemakeup will just stick and last in place for dayssss.....its called the MAC Painter Pot, its a base you put on your eyes, and for people with oily skin they DEFINATELY need it, my eyeshadow used to crease up and fade, and the liner would lighten, this product has great reviews!!

I have the same issue with smudging and found out about this eyeliner by the woman who did my makeup for my wedding. It is a GODSEND! It stays on all day and does not smudge and best of all, it's cheap and lasts forever!!

It lasted all day and night on the day of my wedding. I wore it this weekend to the met/yankee game in 95 degree temperatures, sweating, and then it rained and when I got home, it was STILL ON!!

It comes with the brush too.

Is that a powder or a cream? I usually wear just mineral make-up so I don't want to do anything too heavy or different than the rest.
