facebook question

when you remove *mini stories* does your friends see them?

I don't want my EVERY ACTION to be publicized... then everyone will know I am not working and tooling around the internet

Facebook had me one day. I was rating people and had no idea I was sending them emails letting them know.

I have no idea how to work the new facebook and can't even tell you if people know.

no I mean when I add a new person, or chnage something in my profile or add new pictures... there is a wall that says 'what just added new photos... what just joined so & so network.'

that ish... it bothers me so I delete them... I can't see them anymore on my page but I wonder if OTHER people still get the alerts

ya I always see what my friends have recently done. And I sort of don't care but have no idea as to how to get rid of it. I also think its weird that like if I leave a message for a good friend, other people are notified about it.

i dont think other ppl get the alerts on their news feed if you delete them... i delete a lot of stuff too lol

i feel like my parents do when they try to set the VCR ...i just joined and i am like while my friends have all this stuff going on in their pages.

if you go to privacy and then mini feed the options are there.. if you uncheck everything i think it doesnt show up on yours and on that intro page you get when you first log in and see what everyone else has been up to..

i think..

i have them all unchecked too.. so far i think its working...

also, the other day I went on and had like 60 requests for little green patches or whatever it is. And I finally was able to block the function- but noclue how I did it!! It was annoying me though cus people Im not thaaat good of friends with anymore or just know casually were the ones always sending them and it was tre' annoying!

I am new to facebook also and received 2 requests for the little green patches from the same person. I had no idea what to do with it, so I ignored it.

Seee thats what I dont like about Facebook. It advertises EVERYTHING. My space just added a feature like that too. Let me know if you find this out.

once you delete/hide it, it shouldnt be showing to everyone. i hate that too. but i think you can actually change your privacy settings to not show any of your activity.

i love that right when i was getting used to the chaos of facebook, they revamped it a couple days ago!! at least they said it makes it more user friendly. we'll see.

I think you just have to change the settings as well!!! It is annoying to see so may feeds.
