Fall brides of 2002

how many of you are still wating for your albums?
We selected our pictures & did our layout 3 weeks after our wedding 10/20/02. Then it took us a while to decide on a picture for the cover-I think we did that in the spring.
Is it weird that I don't have it yet?

that is a long time, but my place told me it would take 8-9 mths which I also thought was a long time I ordered our albums at the end of Jan and I got them about a mth ago.

Maybe you can call and follow up with them?

Wow, I got married in Jan\2003 and I already have my album.

We placed the final order for our albums in Dec. 2001, and I got it back at the end of Aug. 2002, so sometimes it does take that long.

It really depends on the studio, I think. Some have faster turn-around times than others.
Call them and ask them what's going on...it cannot hurt. Good luck - I hope you get the finished product soon!

Hi Kelly!!!! How are you doing???? I can't believe our anniversaries are almost here! How was your 1st year?

I got my album in June. We ordered it in January. I don't know why yours is taking so long. I hope it comes in soon!!!

We got to look at the final pictures for our album the beginning of Aug. I think its another couple of months after that before we get our album. I wish it was done already. I can't wait to see it.

I guess it all depends on the place- I also got married of Jan 03 and I don't have the album yet- they aren't even close yet because we are doing the digital album...

I have heard that it can take 9 months or longer to get the album when all is said and done. But I would call and check-up. It cannot hurt to do so.

I JUST finished working with the graphics guy for my digital layouts and will be seeing mock-ups soon, then doing some edits then hopefully the book will be here before my baby turns 5

Well it took my studio forever because they are as slow as sh*t...but I would have had it done in May (if they didnt screw up my name and a pic) but we picked out our pics for our album within a few months after our wedding (we also didn't have a ton of proofs so this wasn't THAT hard).

Definitely keep calling your photographer, I had to keep up on mine big time, I think it is pretty common for them not to call you or call you back, which I think is just awful.

Wow. We were married 10/12/02 and had it in January. Mind you we picked our pictures and designed it rather quickly... he had everything by the begining of December...

I was married in October 02, designed the album in December, and I got it back in May.

We got married in Sept of '02 but didn't pick out the pics for the album until April. Our album is due to be ready within a few weeks. It seems a little weird you don't have it yet. Have you checked with your photographer about what is delaying the album?

I havent even finished designing my album so I cant say firsthand but Ive heard it takes about 6-9 mon. for a traditional album once the order is in. So I think you have waited long enough.

I got married 10/26/02 and I just got my album on Saturday (9/6)....but I did my design in January. So from January to Spet - that's about 9 months. I am still waiting on one parent album, however. They said that should be ready within a week or two. One picture had to be re-printed. I went with a traditional style album -- so I thought 8-9 months was kind of long - but what can you do..right?

I used Cassarino and they have on the contract because of the number of pictures I have it takes 9 months. I never realized albums take this long.

Ours took about six months. We put it in November and we had it by May.

I got married in August 2002 and used Cassarino Studios. Upon meeting with the album designer we had a contract and the estimated time for completion and album pick-up and delivery. The length of time for the album to be completed depended on the amount of photos and if there are 2 small photos on one page because it's all custom made. Our began in October 2002 and we received our entire package and all albums in late July 2003. Our main album has 60 photos and the proof contract saids 9-10 months for completion. Cassarino Studios will NOT allow any brides and/or grooms to pick up any individual items from their package until the whole package has been completed and arrived at the same time. To us it was very nerve racking because we wanted our pictures and albums! At least we had our proofs but wanted our albums! Both mothers were nagging and ever nagging for their albums and enlargements.

Check your photographer's proof contract. Or call them to check the status, that's what I did every month calling them to check the status of our package and albums. Don't nag them too much otherwise they'll take longer to complete.
