Family photographer needed

Can any of you help me with family photos.

Joe and I will be at my parents house for Thanksgiving and I would love to plan to have a photographer to come to our house on the morning of the 28th and take some family photos. The majority of one's from the wedding are missing my brother.

So, can anyone suggest someone who is inexpensive to come and take some shots... or can anyone recommend a good studio to go to.. I would love for them to be taken at the house though because my parents are selling it after the new year.

Are you on Long Island?

The studio I used for my wedding photos will also do stuff like that. I dont know what they charge but if you are not too far from the office, im pretty sure they are reasonable. And of course I think he has wonderful photographers.

PS: I think what you are doing is a great idea. Getting a professional to do some more casual photos on a regular basis is something I would love to do.

Well we are in Texas now, but my parents home is in Bethpage.

We really have no family photos well except for some of the wedding and the ones one before that are from communions which were a long time ago.

I will look into Mark's site.

To be honest, his site is not reflective of the work his photographers can do. Its more like a brochure than a portfolio.

I would recommend calling his office and speaking to Pedro (or Mark directly) and explaining what you want and what you want to spend to see if they work something out for you.

If i lived closer to his office, I think i would do that one christmas myself.

I used Jack Roman for my wedding and engagement photos. He is amazing and he is a freelance photographer so if you go to him directly you can get good prices as opposed to studio prices. He works out of his home in Huntington so he has no overheard costs and can offer very good prices. He freelances for the studio Sonicstef recommended. If you are interested FM me and I will give you his number.
