Fashion help!

I need help with what to wear to a wedding in October that is in PA. It's a very non-traditional wedding (at a luxary log cabin), and I have NO clue what to wear. The dress attire says 'business casual' Would like a sweater dress and tights with heels be good? Help! I figure it will take me about 2 months to figure this out so I better start thinking about it now

i think that would be fine. business casual is kind of weird wording, but i think it meant that the guys don't need to be in suits .
