DH and I didn't like Feast at Lele, but I know others on this board did. We didn't feel it was as good as it should have been considering the price per person.

We went to the Old Lahaina luau. I made our reservations before we left just to make sure we would have good seats! My friend said it was the best and it was food was great, had a blast...

We went to the one at the Hyatt. I heard both of the ones you are looking into are good.

I doubt you are going to find anyone on this board that has been to both and can compare. You may be able to on a Hawaii specific message board -- maybe fodors? Need to find people that have been to Hawaii multiple times.

Anyhow, when I did my research both got very positive reviews. We chose the Feast at Lele to avoid shared tables and a buffet and were happy, but the Old Lahaina Luau with those features is the more traditional experience and people seem to really enjoy it... I really don't think you can choose wrong. The Old Lahaina Luau is the bigger production. What suits your taste?

We chose the Feast also b/c it was more intimate than a 'traditional' luau. We liked the idea of private seating rather than community seating. When we booked we told them that we were HM'ers & that we wanted preferred seating. We sat right in front! (HINT: Call Tom's Cashback Tours in Mauii for discounts to all of these activities w/ no timeshare presentation! If you need the # ... fm me!) We weren't crazy about ALL of the food, but in general it was very good, but overall, it was good, & the show was fantastic. Its very small so you're gauranteed great seats regardless. We loved it & would recommend it if you're looking for a more private/romantic experience!!

I didnt go to feast at lele, so I can't comment on it, but I did go to Olad lahaina luau and LOVED every minute.
We had the traditional seating on the grass up front, which did give it an intimate feel even tho' there were so many ppl.
The food and entertainment oh and DRINKS were excellent. I'd def. do it again

Thanks girls...I just booked the Feast at LeLe because I like the idea of just sitting with my Fi...and the face that there are less people there...thanks so much for all of your input....I didn't mention that we were going to be on our honeymoon though....do you think I should call back? Will I get better seats?

Dani, no matter what you do, mention you're on your HM. We got so many perks that way
