feel so guilty
DH is not one for making a big deal on holidays. I always got on him for this. i mean we do celebrate but his work schedule always interfered (he works nights).
he worked last night & got home this morning around 8:00 & i get a 'happy valentines day' & a kiss. no flowers .etc nothing. so i am home doing my usual saturday grind (cleaning etc) & i am fuming. so i give him the cold shoulder treatment all day. then he tried napping & i made no effort to keep quiet. then as i am about to go out he said ' here your valentine's gift'.. its a coach bag
i really wasn't expecting this since we are about to buy a house. i feel soooo guilty since i was being so cold all day. he just really down played valentine's day & i got really upset. he knows i am sap on the holidays. why did he wait all day?!
for dinner, we are just ordering sushi from a japanese place we love. i only got him a small bottle of Patron & chocolate. then i just ran i got some lingerie for VS & strawberries dipped in chocolate.
is that good enough? I just feel so bad since i was a B *** all day. do u think i over-reacted?? i am not one grand gestures. for me its the little things that count. if he came home with just a single red rose i would have been ecstatic. i really wasn't expecting the coach bag at all.
