Feeling post wedding blahs

I am feeling blue today. Our wedding announcement was in Newsday yesterday and I feel like our wedding was a million years ago. I feel like it is all over and no one talks about it anymore...I feel unpopular as silly as that sounds.

Aww I am sorry to hear that.
I have been feeling blues too. Poeple keep talking about mine and saying it was great but I am so self concious about the DJ incident and paranoid they say its good whne it wasnt. So I think we all have some kind of post wedding symptoms..try to get involved in something to ge tyour mind off of it..I started school and just printed out my assignments..I wont ahve time to be down

I have some blues here too....I was sick the day of my wedding and I wish I could have another day to enjoy it the way I would have...now I have so much time on my hands...I say that it is so weird to plan so long for one day and If it does not turn out perefct it's disappointing....

I had the opposite , I was so stressed from what people were doing to me and DH leading up to the wedding, that I am happy and relieved it is over. My wedding was a success, and people are still talking about it - how good the Dj was , the reception, etc. I ran myself down so much that 1 week after the wedding I had the worst cold and then 3 weeks later a sinus infection and then an ear infection.

Yeah I know its depressing! But look on the bright side, now you have a beautiful married life to cherish!! I am so happy starting my new family with my DH!!

Count me in this boat! I look at my cell phone and I am like 'why isn't it ringing off the hook? Nobody likes me anymore... : ( Hahahah! I think we just get used to hearing people say 'you are the bride dear....ANTYHING you want....'. And I feel the urge to continue talking about it only there is nothing left to talk about! I mean, how many times can I ask people how the food was? Oh well, it was a wonderful day and I am happy I can look back and think of it that way (especially since there was a monsoon that day and I almost walked down the isle without a veil....etc.). Now, its on to making the album!

actually, it is kind of nice to have weekends that dont' consist of wedding plans...now we focus on our new home and working. while i loved the wedding planning and miss some parts of it, like the magazines and all, it is nice to have a life back. for 8 months, my life was all wedding...
