Feeling Sad:(

I know it is supposed to be a cheerful time of year but my DH grandmother is in the hospital and it does not look good. She is 86 yrs old and has very bad Alhazimers. She does not even know what is going on around her. They want to put a feeding tube to sustain her life and My MIL really does not want to do this...the worst part my inlaws are in Vegas ...but they are coming home tonight..
they said without the tube she won't even last the week.....
I know his mother will be very upset and I am rying to wonder why this us bothering me so...I guess i just wanted someone to hear how I am feeling and maybe help me understand...

I am so sorry for this difficult time you and your family are going through. Our thoughts and prayers are also with you. While it's hard finding just the right thing to say, try to find comfort in knowing there are people out there, and around you, who care.

I'm sorry to hear about your DH's grandmother. My DH's uncle has a rare form of alzheimer's (Pick's Disease), and he's only 53, so I can understand what your family went through. It's very hard to see someone totally 'disappear' before your eyes. I'll be praying for you and your family.
