I've been unemployed for over a year and I finally got a job. It's only part time and it's a teacher assistant position but it's in a catholic school walking distance from my house and I'm hoping to sub the other days and pray it will turn into something more by september.
I'm just glad I can finally make a little money and help pay some bills

Congrats!!! I know how you feel! I was in the same situation as you last year. I was unemployed for 4 months and I felt like I would never find a job and then my job where I am at found me on Craigslist! So lucky to have something!!!

I have to go in today at 1pm to meet the teacher I will be working with and to find out exactly when I start. I'm pretty sure the start date is the beginning of Feb bc I'll be assisting in a nursery program which runs from Oct-Dec and Feb-May.
