Finally posting pics of my once bo-k, now our wall piece!!!
so we got it back months ago and i always said i would post pics of it.....in all, we were very satisfied with the work but we did feel taken a little by the potpourri - i guess i envisioned more of a liquid look inside, but thats my fault for not paying close attention! it was quite pricey but i loved the idea that we will have it for a long time and that also it doesn't look too, too weding-like! its been sitting on the top of a dresser in the new house while we renovate but soon we will happily put it on a wall!!!eta: the pics are a little blurry and it doesn't look as nice but in person, its much nicer!

I know I am not a newlywed, but I just wanted to say that that is absolutely beautiful!!! Where did you get it done?

I love both!I just want to make sure I follow you...you took some and made it into a wall hanging (what a great idea wish I thought of it) and took others and put it in the vase.....but is it preserved? How?
I was very stupid and threw out most of my bo-k. I was told that stephanotis and lillies don't dry well so I threw them out and kept the roses. But I had more lillies than roses so I don't have much there that are drying out.
I was thinking of getting the florist to replicate the bo-k using silk flowers and I'll put it in a china closet or curio cabinet with our unity candles.

thats beautiful!!!I did something like the jar thing with our dais c-piece flowers. Now, is that filled with water then sealed with wax? MIL said she had that done with her sweet 16 stuff, but i was afraid putting water in it would ruin the flowers. I may try it. (you fill it with water then seal with wax)
I couldn't do much with my bouquet since hydrangeas don't dry well either, but i just dried it out upsidedown and put it in a vase. I may replicate it with silk sometime down the road.
