Ok...i've had the stack in the corner of my office forever, and in an effort to start the New Year off right I am cleaning...but in a way it was sad to see them go...can't beleive our year is almost gone!

I tried pawning the ones I had in the courtroom off to some 08 girls who said they had more than enough. We had to clean the courtroom out, so they went in the garbage. I miss actually reading those magazines!

I have all my planning stuff still and plan to get rid of it this week.
DH and I are listening to the CD we burned for our DJ for the wedding and I keep getting all teary! Only a few more hours of our year left

I have most of my planning stuff in a HUGE bin!! I have however gotten rid of most of my magazines already (I gave them away to my FSIL).
It s*cks that 2007 is almost over, BUT now we have the rest of our lives together!

I still haven't thrown mine out!!! I can't bring myself to throw out ANYTHING from the wedding at all... I still have the boxes I brought my stuff to the hall in that have our name & date on them... normally they'd be in the trash but I just can't do it!!! I'm saving a lot of stuff though because my bf is getting engaged this year so I'll pass a lot of the useful things on to her.

I wa sok with dumping em cause I ahd TONS but I'll admit to cutting out the pics I loved and saving them in a file for my cousin lmao when she decided to get amrried..the kid is only 19...
I still peek through magazines at B&N on occasion.

i also had a hard time throwing them out; but the final straw was looking through the mags and spotting a dress i liked better than mine! i said why the h*** am i keeping these???!!!

I met a new neighbor on my floor and she just recently got engaged so I gave them ALL to her- she was very grateful!!! They were just taking up so much space and DH was getting annoyed... but I do miss reading them! I loved that part of being engaged!!! But I did keep my binder of all of the pages that I pulled out... so at least I will always have that

I did the same thing Peg. Once all vendors were booked I gave them to my friend who happens to be my bank manager. She was not in when I dropped them off so I left them with 2 female tellers. You should have seen the look on their faces!!!!! Neither one was engaged but their faces lit up like a Christmas tree when they saw the stack.

I have a bag full of stuff for my friend who just got engaged. It's strange to hand it all over to her, but at least it'll go to good use.

I know how you feel. DH and I went to the bookstore yesterday and when we passed the magazine section, I had this urge to buy Modern Bride. It's sad to know that that part of out lives is over

i threw mine out in a cleaning frenzy just a few weeks ago, i refused to let the christmas stuff come out and still have all of them. I still have 2 subscriptions that i got for free, i always feel bad when the new one comes to throw it away, but i'm so sick of looking at them!
