Fire Island?

I cant believe ive lived here my whole life and have never been there before.

can anyone recommend a good resturant to go on Fire Island? Someone i had met in passing was saying theres a specialw here you pay 45.00 per person and it includes Dinner and Ferry and parking... Any one have any ideas?

That special is for Maguires but it's not good on weekends.....I just ate at maguires this weekend....awesome food.

There is also mermaids which is good, Rachels (very casual), Albatross Matthews and a few others. (or pizza! haha)

There are two places in Ocean Bay Park you can eat at, Flynns (if you go on a Sunday night there is a raggae band that plays) and Hurricaines (I think that's the name)

I recommend going to Tequila Jacks in Robins Rest....you forget you're even in NY. (take ferry to Ocean Beach and it's about a 10 minute walk)

I think I heard Tequila Jack's closed. I could be wrong though. I agree with all Devon said and would like to add La Docke in Fair Harbor is really nice also. Flynn's has a special out of Captree...I'm not sure if that's what you are talking about but it includes the boat ride and a lobster dinner. I love Fire Island. It's my favorite place to be in the summer!
