First Anniversary Presents

I know the tradition is paper for the first wedding anniversary. I am getting DH a book called The Book of Us. It has a different question on each page and room for me to write my answers. I think it's a really cute idea but I'd also like to get him something else. What are you ladies thinking of?

Mine is getting a baby and thats it The paper will be the birth certificate J/K

Actually, I work for a book distributor so I don't know exactly where to tell you to find it. Once I get it tomorrow, I might be able to tell you more information.

We're still trying to plan a 1st year anniversary vacation (need to see if it's feasible $-wise). If we DO go away, then the 'tickets' will be our paper gift

believe it or not we actually didn't do gifts for our anniversary....just had a really nice night together a nice dinner, then we dug into our cake, then we snuggled up & watched a movie....and then....well...u dont wanna know the rest

That sounds perfect!!! and to be honest, I don't think we are going to end up on an anniversary trip in April due to my lingering health problems and DH's work schedule.. so maybe a nice dinner in the city and a show would be fine by me!!!

We are planning a trip. I am hoping that health-wise, it will be feasible. I am sure it will happen. And I want another David Yurman cable bracelet to wear with the one i have.

Well...we're going back to Mackinac Island for 5days. I think he's getting me jewelry. Our anniversary is June 1 and my birthday is June 3 so we joke that I have a birthaversary I would rther he combine the 2 and do that. I'm going to fix his Martin 12 string guitar for him since he loves it and it's broke. I know he wants to do paper, but my suggestion was to take a picture of each of our gifts and frame them so that way every year we can add to the 'picture' wall

I made something for DH with our wedding song lyrics & our first dance picture..It is hanging in our office at home

He got me our dining room set But put the receipt in the card!!! I was beyond surprised & thrilled....We picked it out together but DH said we had to wait a little longer to order it. Never in my wildest dreams did I think he would surprise me with it..

Now we are onto planning our 2nd anniversary which is cotton!!!!
