I think it was immediately after we were announced.

yup - we walked into the ballroom and onto the dancefloor. Music changed and we started dancing.

We went right in to our first dance after coming up out of the floor.

the intro of our song started as we walked in, our dj only announced us-not parents or BP.

pretty much the same here...parents, bridal party and DH & I were announced..then right into first dance.

I have been to a wedding, where it was done aftger the cake cutting.
