Every year DH goes to one away football game with his boys, so I take a weekend trip with my girlfriend the same weekend. This DH is going to San Fran for the weekend, so we decided to go to FL for the weekend. It's a weekend in December.
What part of FL do you think we should go? We want to spend the weekend on the beach, at the spa, have some fun nightlife and good shopping. Any suggestions?

St Augustine. There are beaches, sight seeing, tons of shopping (outlet and other) and I am sure if you google it there are tons of spa things. HTH

Dh and I love marco island! beautiful beaches, great restaurants. not much nightlife. outlet mall nearby...

eta: maybe you may not want to do Miami since it's just you and your girlfriend--how about ft. lauderdale? or Fort Myers?

I liked Tampa. It was beautiful and Clearwater Beach was close by. Also, Tampa has some cute neighborhoods to hang out in like Ybor City.
