Dont worry....you arent the only who had to deal with house drama...i went through it as well...closing 2 weeks after our schduled closing date. Stay positive and try to be patient...as difficult as it is...and everything will work out!

Good luck today. It is really annoying but sometimes they just don't know the amounts until the last minute. our lawyer just told us to bring a lot of blank checks.

It will all be worth it in a few hours. Congrats and we want pics of your new place !!!!

Lawyers usually get the figures from the bank. Banks work slow and could careless that you have to go last minute. Don't stress too much they can't close unless your there!

hey guys!! thank you so much for all the responses. we got the amounts and i didnt even have to call her to bug her. we did our walk through and CLOSED! i still cant believe that this lovely house is OURS. then we went to bobs and bought a bedroom set and couches. and though i am very happy about everything, i am also really apprehensive and my stomach is in knots. this is bc of the reality of packing up and moving all our crap and deciding on what colors to paint our living room, bedroom and dining room. i am aware of how ridiculous that sounds but its the truth. all i want to do is have a drink and chill out and not think about ANYTHING.

ps- i bought chocolate brown couches and i am thinking a pale buttery yellow to paint the LR. does this sound like it would work?? also, our bedroom set is cherry. what paint color would go with that?? i am so new to this stuff and completely clueless. i was thinking a beigey-rose. thank you!!!!!!

Packing and moving is such a pain in tha AZZ!!!! You'll be constantly tired for the first 2 weeks!! But it's also sooo exciting!!! Your color choices sound great, I'd go maybe w/ a lighter color in the BR since you have the darker color wood. Good Luck & welcome to homeownership- it's a b!tch!
