How long from the time you sat with your photographer to put it together, how long was the wait to get the finished product??? Ours will be ready in Feburary.

Re: For all who already have their albums
ok...I feel better...I saw a girl in church yesterday and her album was done in month...I was not comparing hers to mine, b/c all her pictures were the same size and she only had one pix per page. It was the old style album...no composites, no b&w no different sizes etc
THanks for responding all

Re: For all who already have their albums
Curly, 8 -10 months seems like a very long time. Originally I was told approximately 4-6 months. But my album consultant told me it would be more like 3-4 months.

I used Cassarino - I was told 7-9 months for the album to be complete!

Thanks Annie02, so I see Cassarino just takes extraordinarily LONG!!! I'll assume 8-9 months but I still think that's very long

Re: For all who already have their albums
I think they say longer and hope for shorter. I would prefer if its done right and not rushed...but 8-10 mos that is a long time

I used Cassarino and they told me 8-9 months, but I'll be married a year in 2 weeks and I still haven't gotten my album back yet. BUT IT'S NOT THEIR FAULT!!! Because of 9/11 they were backed up, so I didn't get my proofs back until the end of Nov and then I was away and it was the holidays, so I couldn't get an appt until the end of Jan. So they told me 8-9 months from then. I did get back my portrait about 2 months ago.
My sister also used them (and so did my friend) and they both had to wait until almost a year. So it's a normal process for them.

Re: Album Question
Now I'm really mad. I have a custom album - 2 actually.
I got married in 2000 and still have not gotten my album. I am ready to call a lawyer and take the photographer to court.
I put in the photo choices over 2 years ago and leave messages for my photographer all the time. It's a small business and by appointment only. There's never anyone in the office and no one returns calls.
At this point I am so angry. Now hearing that many of you got your albums in 3 or 4 months, I'm even more angry.
I guess I better call my lawyer.
Thanks for listening to me vent. Teresa

Re: Album Question
Teresa, why did you let it go for so long??? That is an awfully long time for a bride to wait for her album...Girl you get on the horn and get someone to doing something to get you your albums
All the best, who was the photographer

Re: Album Question
I dont belong her either, lol, but I just want to tell Teresa that this happenned to a friend of mine, and when she told them she would call '7 on your side' and Fox news, they hurried, and gave her a beautiful album in no time.

Re: Album Question
Teresa- who did you use? Your album should be delivered to you by now. I think you might have a problem. Have a friend call up and make an appointment to go and met them, then you arrive instead. DEMAND your album and all your photos. If not, get a lawyer.

Re: Album Question
Thanks for all of your words of wisdom and encouragement.
I'm going to get in touch with my lawyer and have them give him a call - then follow promptly with a lawsuit.
I hope this works because I've lost my patience. Since the photographer is doing so much custom work, I was trying to be patient, now this is getting rediculous
