Question - I heard that they send you a certificate for 10% off anything you buy after the wedding date from the registry. How long did it take to get the certificate. We got married 12/15 and I still have not received it and there a some things left that I want to buy myself and we also have gift certs from there as well.

Re: For anyone who had registered at Fortunoff...
I received my certificate about 2 months after the wedding. If you want to go sooner, I'm sure you can call them up. Be aware though that the certificate is only good for that one day that you go, after that, it's invalid.

It took us a couple of months to get it also. I think we are hoping for a presidents day sale to use it with all the credits/gift cards we have there:)

I received mine about 1 1/2 months after the wedding. But I was surprised to learn that this coupon expires 6 months after our wedding date! I figured we had more time - all that we still have to purchase is going to add up fast! $$$

Re: For anyone who had registered at Fortunoff...
I registered there and I did not get one I only registered for a few things there anyway, so the 10% would not have made a difference. I am sure if you call they would be more than happy to send you one.
they gave me a new one on the spot...and told me to rip up the old one
(I wonder if I can use it again??)

They should do better than 10%, fortunately I know someone that works there that can get 20%!

I don't think its worth it the 10% off. What I need left from my redistry I added it up, deducted 10% and then added the tax (I think that is the way they do it). I only end up saving is $6. They def should have a better program.

Re: For anyone who had registered at Fortunoff...
I got mine about 2-3 months after the wedding. Just a reminder... This coupon is only good for one day of shopping. Trick to share.... If there is anthing you want and didn't reg. for, add it before you use the coupon. It just has to be on the regestry. They don't know when you added it!!

DecBride - I was married on Dec. 13th and I just received my coupon in the mail yesterday. You should get yours anyday.

OK I just received a card from Fortunoff for 20% off everything for one day. I am planning to use that instead of my 10% off. Too bad I can't combine both of them.

Latina,
Was this coupon related to your registry or for general cust? IE how do I get my hands on one of those?

Re: For anyone who had registered at Fortunoff...
I didn't even get my 10% off one yet. I'd rather have 20% Any info on how you got it would be great.

Ok, not a newlywed, but I wanted to jump in here. I got that 20% off coupon today, and I didn't even register there. It does say to take it to the bridal registry department though. It says it's good for 20% off anything in the store, except grills and jewelry.

I received it as a general customer but it is better than the one they give you for bridal registry.

Re: For anyone who had registered at Fortunoff...
Sorry, no promo code on the 20% coupon, it says that you have to bring it to the store. I don't know, maybe you can call, it just came today, and it has a fortune cookie on the front that says 'you will save 20% ALL day at a one-day shopping spree!' and it's good between now and February 20. Once before I got a coupon like this for Fortunoff from American Express, but this time it doesn't mention Amex. I don't know if the two are related.
