Re: For anyone who has been to hawaii
Kapalua Villas in Maui- AMAZING!!!!!
It was an ocean front villa- it had a living room, kitchen, laundry room, CRAZZZYYY @ss bathrooom, patio that lead to the ocean & bedroom with a private lanai for a great price. We used Tom Varghese as our travel agent.
Kapalua is kind of secluded, and is all the way up north, so we were far from everything, but it was perfect because we got to see the ENTIRE island. Plus, we didn't have any annoying kids or loud music around us.
FM me if you want any other info.

Re: For anyone who has been to hawaii
We only went to Oahu and stayed at the Sheraton Princess Kaulaini. It was really nice and we had a great experience there, but it's not beach front tho we did get an ocean view room.
The 2 beach front hotels that I would recommend are the Sheraton Moana Surfrider and the Outrigger Waikiki, we walked through them and they're gorgeous but of course more expensive.

This is actually one we are considering. We figured staying somewhere less expensive in Oahu would be good since we'll be out more and stay somewhere nice in maui.

We stayed at Sheraton Princess Kahului (not sure ofhte spelling) and also in Marriott Waikiki. Both hotels were really nice. You get more perks when you stay in Sheraton. We got promoted to their suite and it was amazing. It's only 2 blocks from the beach, which is really nice.
Marriott is also great and about the same distance from the beach.
(That's all on Oahu)

Re: For anyone who has been to hawaii
Oahu – We stayed at the Halekulani Hotel. It was the most peaceful, serene and tranquil hotel I have ever seen. It was exactly what we needed after the crazy days we had leading up to the wedding. We had a gorgeous lanai overlooking the courtyard and ocean.
Maui – Maui is gorgeous, there’s no other way to put it! We stayed at the Hyatt, which we loved, but I have to be honest, we liked the quiet atmosphere of the Halekulani better. The Hyatt was packed with kids, especially by the pool. The grounds at the Hyatt are beautiful and the staff is very friendly and accommodating. We had breakfast every morning at Swan Court in the hotel and we stuffed ourselves beyond belief lol

Westin Resort and Spa Best hotel ever! Flamingos and parrots in the lobby, beautiful view! They upgraded us when we got there. Gigantic pool with an adult pool if you dont want to be near the kids. The spa was excellent we got a massage in a cabana our last day.

I second Hilton Hawiaan Village! Weve stayed there three times and its beautiful! (Oahu is only 4 hours from CA where we live). People from other hotels come here to hang out because theres so much going on and always like a live band playing and stuff.

Re: For anyone who has been to hawaii
We stayed in a beach cottage at the Turtle Bay Resort on Oahu. It was great and away from the craziness of Waikiki which we liked, but if that's what you want then don't stay there.
On Maui we stayed at the Sheraton which was really nice. We had no problems there and the beach is great, but crowded. I would recommend it, but at the time we wished we had stayed elsewhere.
