For anyone who has been to Veags. .

I have never been and I'm leaving on a last minute trip in three days.

What should I pack for the day/night time? I'm going crazy because my summer stuff is already packed away in bins and I don't even know what shoes to pack (sandels, boots etc.) ?:

I'm also a baby when it comes to flying. . I haven't did a 5 hour flight in some time. I'm a nervous wreck and I just don't want to go. Anyone with suggestions???

TIA

I haven't been to vegas in years but I will suggest you check weather.com or accuweather.com and see what the temps will be for the time you are there. That will give you an idea of what to pack!

As for your flying fear: Your gonna be fine! I used to be really afraid of flying and when I started flying with DH (who is a pilot) he was able to explain a lot of the things that scared me (noises, smells, turbulence). There is a book written by a pilot that basically does the same thing! I'll see if I can find the title for you....

Have an amazing trip!!

ETA: Here is the book! It's called 'Ask The Pilot'

Pack sexy outfits for the night. A lot of the clubs have a strict door policy. Nothing is really too outrageous either.

For the day, pack clothing that you will not feel hot in - and will be comfortable in, but that also looks cute, like cute miniskirts or capri pants with matching tops. Little summer type dresses are also good.

For the flight, maybe bring something good to read and a deck of cards. You will be there before you know it!

If you are really that anxious, you could also ask your doctor to prescribe something.

Have fun! Vegas, baby.

I love Vegas, was there in July. By the way NEVER go in July, man it is hot. But I won $580 in the first 20 min I was there.

Day- Casual Wear / Comfy Shoes
Night- You can never be too dressed for Vegas, make it sparkle.

Don't sweat the flying, take a Dramine, that's what DH does.

I've been to Vegas 5 times - once in July, once in September, and 2 times in December, and 1 time in February.

I would NOT take all summer clothes for a trip in November - so don't worry about having packed your summer clothes. It was still hot in September, but by December, it's only a high of mid 60's every day. Since the sun is usually shining, it's a NICE mid 60's, but not HOT. Check what the weather is this week, but I'd recommend light fall clothing, a light jacket in case it gets a little on the chilly side. For the night time, take a pair of nice jeans (dressy, not baggy), a few pretty dressy tops, heels or boots, maybe a cute dress. We went to a few of the 'in' clubs (Tao at Venetian, Moon at the Palms, Playboy Club, Jet at Mirage) and found that people were not dressed to the nines all the time - remember that everyone out at these clubs is a tourist, from all different parts of the US and the world, so as long as you don't look like you're going to the park and are dressed up a bit, you'll be fine.

remember that vegas is a desert so even if it's 60 it can still be cold because there is no humidity. so you can pack light sweaters and boots too. and besides, you don't wanna look out of season in your summer clothes.

I forgot that it was November. It will be mostly in the 60s and 70s during the day. At night, it will be a little cooler. I have only been to Vegas in July and August (3x), and it is HOT.

We just got back from Vegas 2 days ago....it was like low 70's during the day. A little chilly by the pool but the hot tub was perfect!

I agree with the above poster...capris and cute tops during the day works and dressier more 'clubbish' attire for the evening.

Have fun!!!

I dont think its very hot in November.. Im sure its around 70 but definately not in the 90s like the summer!

as far as your fear of flying- its really not a horrible flight. watch the movies they show and you'll be there before ya know it! or if you REALLY dont think you can handle it, ask your doctor for a tranquilizer

good luck and dont worry! You'll have a BLAST! It's a TON of fun out there!
