For FranM and others wondering about Murder Mystery

I had posted awhile ago that I was taking DH on a Murder Mystery Weekend for his birthday. Well, we went a few weeks ago and had a really great time!! We stayed at the Harry Packer Mansion in Jim Thorpe, PA. As soon as we pull up to the mansion, there was a huge clap of thunder and lightening!!!! I am not kidding!!! We were showed to our room went out for dinner and then came back for round one of the mystery, where we were assigned character roles. The next morning at breakfast we got to know our fellow mystery participants and then went off on our own mountain biking on the 12 mile gorge trail which was gorgeous!!!! Only drawback was that at the end of the gorge you must walk(couldn't possibly ride) up two of the steepest hills to get back to town. DH giot lost and took us up a third hill at which point, my true princess came out and I whined that I DID NOT CARE if the charged my cred.card $1000, there was NO WAY I was dragging the *&%$ bike up another hill!!!! Of course, I got over that tantrum and we did make it back to the mansion where we had a formal dinner , which was DELICIOUS! and had the last round of clues and solved the mystery. It was such a fun time!!! I would highly recommend it, the mansion is GORGEOUS and the accomodations were very nice and very clean!!! It realy was a nice time (minus the tantrum! )

Karesse, ! They told us that lots of people come w/ large groups and that it makes it even more fun! I didn't consider it to be that expensive, since it includes dinner and two breakfasts, both of which were fab!
