My friend was just recently engaged and is starting to look at halls for her Spring 09 wedding. Problem is, she's not origionally from Jersey, but this is where her wedding will be held. Can anyone offer up any suggestions for halls in Jersey? (preferably Northern Jersey) I'm just trying to help her get a jump on things. TIA!

i went to a wedding at 'the manor' and it was freakin' gorgous. the grounds are super incredible too....i do know it's really $$$$$, and honestly, i really wasn't too crazy about the food! But maybe they just had a bad night? regardless the place is beautiful. I also LOVE where jen(peteysbride) got married....'The Brownstone House'...she's got a ton of photos in her review...it was beautiful!
Higlawn Pavillion is owned by the same people but its much more modern. The Manor is tarditional elegance.
The Brownstone is a shady area but GORGEOUS and no one bother syou seriously. Its an 'old school' Italian run place..nuff said.
The price are great there too and the food is AMZING! Try to go to one of their 2x a year tastings. Its a huge event, you van bring liek 8 peopel with you and its FABULOUS. Best food I ever had at any wedding lol.
Naninas in the Pakr is GORGEOUS!!!! Went to a wedding there and second ebst food I ever had-tons of it but its pricey.
