Hi Valenia
The Halekulani is like an oasis in the middle of the flashiness of Waikiki beach. It is so elegant and calm, open and airy. The pool is specatcular. Every afternoon and evening there is a hawaiian band/hulu show by the pool so you can sip your drink and watch. The restaurants were delicious. We had a ocean view room which also overlooked the pool. They treat you extremely nicely. The bathroom is huge and the extras are real nice. Have you checked out their web site? www.halekulani.com. Let me know if you need to know anything more specific.

Hi Valenia-Hyatt
Hi! How exciting! Hawaii was absolutley wonderful! The Hyatt in Kauai was so amazing and beautiful. The pool is never ending with diff sections with waterfalls so you have your own private area with a few other couples or you can rent a raft and go floating on the salt water lagoon with your new hubby! Or there is always the beach! The restaurants were faboulous...especially the one that looks like a tikki hut right on the water ( I forgot the name). The rooms were huge and very nice and clean. We had an ocean view which was amazing waking up to every morning. The staff was nice and the grounds were so pretty..all and all GREAT choice to stay there!!! Have fun..any questions let me know! :-)

Thanks Dale and Lee!!!
I can't wait for my honeymoon! Thanks for making me feel very confident in my decisions. We are planning 11 nights - 4 nights Halekulani, 3 nights Hyatt in Kuaia, 4 nights Four Seasons Maui. I know it sounds like a lot of jumping around, but I really want to see all three of these islands for at least some time! We are planning to be pretty lazy anyhow, and not even try to explore too much! Just a single excursion of sorts on each island, (Pearl Harbor on Oahu, Helicopter Ride on Kuaia, Luau on Maui) and otherwise just lay around :-). Do you think I'm crazy? I haven't booked anything yet, so if you think I'm making a mistake, let me know!!! Also, if you have suggestions of where to book the hotels that would be great too! (We are using miles for the flights - Yeah!)

I agree that all you need to do on Oahu is see Pearl Harbor and lay around - that's exactly what we did! But there are SOO many great things to see on Maui. The helicopter tour we took only took about 2 hours out of our day. The volcano sunrise bike tour started at 2:45 in the morning and we were back at our hotel at 10...aside from one afternoon of golf, that's all we did on Maui, but it was totally worth it - you will never see things like this anywhere else and who knows when you may make it back? Of course, I am a big fan of just laying around, so who am I to say? LOL - just thought I would mention the things we did -some of what we saw was indescribable.

I have to agree with Lee, we went in February, spent 2 days in Oahu, (strictly to see Pearl Harbor) then we were off to Maui for 5 days, I LOVED IT..we did so much, we went on 2 snorkeling trips and a luau. We also did the sunrise at Mt. Haleakala on our own. After that we were off to Kuai for 3 days to just veg before returning home. It was very mellow
