For our 1 Year...Need Suggestions please

For our one year anniversary we are thinking of going to a fancy Italian restaurant in Manhattan and then see the tree and go shopping. I don't know what else to do. Maybe a carriage ride through Central Park? Anyone have any other suggestions? Does anyone know of any inexpensive hotels to stay at for the night? We might consider staying over night.

OMG...u should totally do what we did for our bdays. go to club hilton in manhattan. It is right across the street from the ice rink. We paid 199 for 3 days 2 nites. Got 2 free tixx to a broadway show or u can get a free dinner. The hotel is absolutely gorgeous. rooms are awesome. The only thing u have to do is go on a timeshare tour which was 90 minutes. INot a big deal. For us, we stayed at the hotel for 199 for 3 days 2 nites, saw thoroughly modern millie, ate at tavern on the green, did a horse and carriage ride and went ice skating at the tree. Sounds like the same type of ideas that u had in mind for manhattan. If u need any more info, Id be glad to help.

One If By Land, Two If By Sea is THE most romantic restaurant in New York. :)

Thanks Lana. I will check it out. That sounds just like what we were looking for. We were going to go to Carmine's, but maybe we'll go there instead. Thanks!

Lana,
I just looked it up and it sounds so romantic and the food looks good too! I am going to call and make reservations. Thanks!

Go for it...New York Magazine consistently votes it number one most romantic spot.

Also, Candella in Union Square is a wonderful, intimate spot for drinks. (I used to work in the area!)
