FOR PAST BRIDES WHO WORE THERE HAIR DOWN...........

OR HAIR HALF-UP AND HALF-DOWN; DID IT BOTHER YOU AT ALL THOROUGHOUT YOUR WEDDING, DURING RECEPTION, ETC. ? I WANT TO WHERE IT DOWN BUT EVERYONE I S DISCOURAGING THIS IDEA. ALL COMENTS AND OPINIONS WELCOMED. THANK YOU!

I wore my hair half up half down. There were 2 things that happened...it was a windy day and I had waves/curls in my hair that with the wind came out a bit....I would have liked it more in tact when the ceremony finally started. I also got hot from all the dancing and excitement.

I always wear my hair down and that's how my DH likes it so I would wear it half up again if I could do it over.

I WORE IT ALL DOWN. AT THE END OF THE NIGHT, WITH ALL THE DANCING AND EXCITEMENT, I HAD TO PUT IT UP. IF I COULD CHANGE SOMETHING, I WOULD'VE WORN IT UP, MY PICS LOK BETTER AND IT WAS MORE CONFORTABLE

I wore mine 1/2 up & it stayed very well. And I danced my tush off.

I wore mine half-up/half-down and had no problems. My hair is naturally curly though, so I didn't have to worry about the curls coming out

I wore mine half up, half down. By the end of the night the top part of my hair got flat and started to come down.

I wore my hair down and loved it. I looked like me. I got a little hot dancing, but once I took off the veil, all was well again!

Thanks for all of the responses!!! My hair is naturally curly and looks alot beter down than up plus FI loves my curly hair so really for him I would do it down......my concern is throughout the reception because I am always dancing and I know I will be dancing all night. Usualy when I got out with freidns my hair wounds up in a poney tail because of this......THANK YOU AGAIN for your opinions!!! I have 11 months to decide

I got married on July 31, 2004. It was a humid day and the temp was 88 degrees. I all along was planning on wearing my hair up because I figured with the humidity it would be a mess. (i have curly hair) I thought it would be all frizzy or falling down. Well when I went for the trail, she thought it would look better half up half down. So she did it that way. I LOVED IT!!!! She sprayed it and pinned my veil on and with the tiara and all. Not a piece of hair was out of place. I am glad I wore my hair that way because it was different then all my friends and other brides I had seen, who usually alwyas wear their hair up!

I wore my hair half up half down because I felt it would be more me, I usually never wear my hair up. It stayed in place all night and I did alot of dancing as well.
