For the not so newly wed newlyweds.

Did you eat your cake on your first anniversary?? If so how was it?
DH and I just took ours out of the freezer and plan on eating it tonight.

Update: It actually was pretty good. It was a bit dry, but the butter cream and chocolate pudding were still really good.

Yup, we did, or at least I did. DH couldn't get past the fact that it was a year old, he had a tiny piece but basically I got to eat it all!! And yes, it was still yummy!!

Happy Anniversary!!!

We ate our cake when we got back from the honeymoon. It wasn't that tastey so we had a little and threw the rest away.

It was actually really funny because for the past month, Paul has been saying that he was scared to try it. well I opened it last night and the kid was so f'ing paranoid it bordered on hysteria!
he swore that the frosting had changed colors and that the filling was not good. So, I dug in and it was actually really YUMMY!!!
I told Paul to just give it a try and he finally gave in. Gagging, he took a bite and all of a sudden he goes 'WOW this is good give me some more!!!!'
Men, so dramatic sometimes.

our cake was so yummy -- but we carely got to eat it at the reception so I am curious to see how it'll taste a year later we triple wrapped it in saran wrap and then tin foil based on some article I read -- hope it works and tastes ok

We each took a tiny bite... it had whipped cream in it so I was scared to eat too much of it. It did taste good though!

We didnt...we took it out at 1 month and we both looked at it and just threw it out. It wasnt that sentimental to us so it didnt matter
