Did you find that you recieved a smaller gift because it was a second marriage? A girl at work mentioned she was going to a wedding that was the 2nd for the bride. She said she wasn't giving as much as she did for her first wedding.
This is FH 2nd marriage but my 1st. Should I expect less from his guests? I never heard of this before. I've never been married! What gives?!

This is my 4th marriage and I still received the same gifts as my first $$$$$$$$$$$$$$. I love getting married it helps when the bills are a bit much

QUOTE] First off I can't believe that girl admitted this . I've been a guest to weddings where either the bride, groom, or both were married before and I attended their 1st marriages. When I gave my gift (read $$$) at no point did my mind wander off to think about what I did for their previous wedding.

Hi Collette!! Long time no 'see'!! I've personally been to a number of weddings where the bride or groom had been married before, and I don't give a lesser gift, but I know some people who do and I find it really
So I'd say, there are likely to be some of FH's friends/relatives who go 'lower' but I think it would be the minority of his guests!!
