For those married on a SUNDAY......
Hello Brides-For those married on a Sunday, did you feel guests left early, didn't stay for the cake cutting or didn't party as hard due to work the next day???
Thanks for any feedback, I am trying to make a decision!

Re: For those married on a SUNDAY......
I got married last month on a Sunday. Basically everyone stayed to the end. Some people left around 10:30 - it was over at 11pm. However, it was in the mid-summer, so many people took off because they figured they would enjoy Monday, a nice summer day, off. Also, as we all know Eastern LI traffic is insane. So may people left later becaus the traffic was lighter. What time of year are you getting married? What time is the reception?

I got married on a Sunday, but the reception ended at 6...so everyone was there for the whole time...the hall had to gently 'kick' us out...b/c there were at least 50 people still there at 6:45, saying goodbyes...

Re: For those married on a SUNDAY......
I got married on a Sunday. The majority of the people stayed until the end. It was the day before President's day so most people had the next day off and the reception ended at 10:30 pm.I don't think people will leave early unless it really runs past 12pm. The truth is no matter what day of the week the wedding is, I've noticed that at a lot of weddings people end up leaving shortly after the cake cutting.

Re: For those married on a SUNDAY......
My wedding ended at 11pm. I don't think that many people left early because it was Sunday. A lot of people left after the cake-cutting which was about 10 pm but I think that happens at most weddings, regardless of the time. I don't think anyone left before that. There were so many people still there at the end, Fox Hollow practically had to kick them all out.

I was married on a Sunday as well. Our reception ended at 11pm, and almost everone stayed until the end. Some people started leaving at around 10:30, which was well after the cake cutting and special dances.

Re: For those married on a SUNDAY......
I am not a Sunday bride but I have been to a lot of Sunday weddings. It really depends on the crowd...some families are party groups and dont let anything stop them from enjoying every last minute. Some families are more reserved and use the Sunday thing as a reason to leave early. The last Sunday wedding I went to, everyone stayed til the last minute and beyond (they were kicking us out), but ive been to others where the place is empty the minute the cake cutting is over. So make the decision based on what you know about your friends and family.Welcome New Vendors
