After she did your alterations, what did you do about steaming your dress?

My sister (MOH) steamed my dress the night before my wedding!
BTW, Karin did a fabulous job on my alterations!

I was very happy w/ Karin, but I didn't steam my dress, I didn't even think about, no one told me that I should do that, but my dress didn't seem like it needed it. Did she say to do it?

I haven't met with Karin yet, I plan to in February for my firsy fitting, however my dress is in a garment bag at my moms and I am not getting married till may. My dress is satin on the top and organza(tulle like) on the bottom. We took it out recently to look at it again and it seemed fine. Do I still need to steam it? Help all you wedding pros!
