For those that had to purchase thank you cards separately...

..meaning they weren't included with your photography package. What did you get and where did you get them?

The cards were included in the package but I didn't want the ones that are the photo holder and I didn't want to pay the extra money for the photo cards either- so I got matching Thank You cards that went with the invites... but instead of saying 'Thank You' on the cover I put our monogram- that way with the extras I could use them later on.

I haven't figured this part out yet. I will either buy mine or try to be creative and make them if they don't come out cheesy.

Or I might just foot the bill and have Laura make them match my invitations. I was even thinking about making them to match my programs, since they were such a hit and I have so much extra paper.

Another question to ask. Whatever I do, should I just slide the wallet size picture in the card? 100 of them are included in my package.

I ordered TY cards with a hole for a photo...but it turned out it was for a 3x5...not a wallet...so I printed pics from our table cameras for the hole...and then just slipped the wallet ones in

This happened to me too. I eventually went back to the photographer and told them that they did not tell me the slip-ins weren't included. After making a big stink and trying to speak to the owner they finally ordered them for me for no charge.

I had mine printed at Shutterfly.com - I didnt care for the ones that photographers make. Either they were the slips in (so not me) or the ones that the photo was printed on the paper but the ones the photographer use are printed on a filmsy paper I wasnt too keen on. Shutterfly is cheaper, faster and a more flexible product to design with.

See I want to include the slip ins b/c my family and Len's family will all want one for their wallet.
But the slip in thank you cards are so cheesy, so I want a regular TY card (creative and pretty of course
and just slide the wallet pic inside.

Is that OK?

Lizlen - you can either cut little slits in your cards to hold the wallet photo inside or use a little bit of that green tact stuff or even hot glue (let it cool for a bit before affixing the photo so it will peel off).
