How long did it take from start to finish to get your digital album?
I'm going this weekend to give the proofs we picked for our album. I can't wait to see what they come up with!!! Thanks

I designed it myself so it took forever...but that was more me and my timeframe.
But keep in mind that these designs take a good amount of time when there is a lot of thought put into them. So the design process varies depending on variables like - who is doing the design? if they are using templates or doing an original design for you? how many pages and photos are included? if they take your feedback and make changes or do they only do one version, etc..
I think the making of a the digital album Im getting takes 4-8 weeks after the album design is done. I think that has something to do with the fact the company is in Australia. But again, I would imagine every company is different.

I just recently did my 2nd set of changes. I am waiting for the disc (email) to see them. I will keep changing things till it's the way we want. My DH picks up alot of little things that we changed. I hope to get it by my 1 year anniversary.

VIP is whom I getting my digital album from... I get 100 photos but can't remember how many pages it is. The book is called 'the Soho book' or 'the book'
I saw that ddunne23, is also getting a digital album from VIP (I think) - I don't think they are the same digital books.
I know for sure I get a say in the layout, I better get a say. I do this type of thing for a living (graphic designer). I'm going to be a pain in their a$$es!!
I'm psyched about starting our album, just wanted to know a timeframe on delivery

Did my layouts in early Feb had the album about 5 months later.

we are doing a digital album also. we're still at the early stages of picking out our photos - we are having a very hard time narrowing it down!!
