I know that the photographer usually captures the moment when he first sees you before the wedding.
However I guess my question is - What was DH's reaction when he saw you the second time?
Was it just as priceless? Do any of you regret taking the pics beforehand?

Not at all, I wouldn't change a thing ... his reaction was still priceless - it's different good, because when you walk down the aisle, it's really for real!
I understand how you feel though, I was afraid at first, but I'm glad we took pics before, or else, we would have missed out on such much at the wedding!

We did not do that but I have heard a few brides say that it really calm them down to see FH before the ceremony.

I didn't regret it ONE BIT, and my DH even thanked me for making the decision in time (until a few wks before the wedding we had not planned on seeing each other before) It was perfect, and made the day flow so much more smoothly. No one was nervous, just excited and so happy. When I walked down the isle DH's expression is adorable

I do not regret it at all. As far as when he saw me walking down the aisle, the expression on his face was pure excitement again. I would not change a thing. The best part was we got to be at our cocktail hour and enjoy the great food.
lol...I can't really remember him when I was walking down...but its all such a blur...
I was VERY happy that we were able to take pics before hand...b/c there were a lot of things to get settled...like signing marriage license and taking some time to ourselves...
I also liked the privacy of our first meeting...just the two of us...and the photgraphers...not everyone gawking at us...

we saw eachother before and those are our best pictures!! Here's one: (there are better ones actaully - where you can see his face, but they aren't scanned...)
Great thread girls!! I'm having my pics done before the ceremony, too, and I was worried about it. Now I know I have nothing to worry about and we'll have these awesome pictures too!!

Like yabbo, I was so nervous about stepping on my dress and tripping, I don't even recall looking at or seeing DH while I walked down the ailse.
